Baseball Beyond Borders organizes sports diplomacy trips for American youth baseball teams and their families to the Dominican Republic that include baseball competition, training, cultural exchange, and fun.
Founder, Michel Rodriguez conceived the idea in 2016. He founded the program to share the “Latin way of baseball” with American youth and give back to Latin youth baseball players.
We offer a spring immersive baseball and cultural experience to the Dominican Republic. This trip is for 13 and 14-year-old ballplayers and their families. Our spring trip occurs around Easter and is for middle school players.
NEW for June 2027, we plan to offer a trip to Japan for high school players.
Experiencing baseball is the main focus of the trip. Players learn the cultural significance of baseball and play against experienced and talented players. They bind through the language of baseball.
