Americans can travel to Cuba, but there are certain restrictions. The United States government restricts trade and travel between the two countries. However, there are a number of exceptions that allow Americans to travel to Cuba for certain purposes.

The most common way for Americans to travel to Cuba is under the “people-to-people” category. This category allows Americans to travel to Cuba to engage in educational, religious, or cultural activities. Other categories that allow Americans to travel to Cuba include:

  • Family visits
  • Journalism
  • Professional research
  • Public performances
  • Educational activities
  • Humanitarian projects

Americans who travel to Cuba under one of these categories must still obtain a visa (and other documents) from the Cuban government. The airlines will not allow passengers to board a flight to Cuba without a proper visa and documentation. It is important to note that the Cuban government does not allow foreigners to visit Cuba for purely tourist purposes.

This experience is for middle school (13-14 year olds) baseball players. The trip will be 6 days/ 5 nights and track Easter and Passover, which align with the spring break holiday for most students. Departure and return dates will be midweek with the trip spanning over a weekend to maximize savings.

The trip DOES NOT include airfare. We will identify an optimal air itinerary and then you will purchase your own flights. This allows maximum savings and flexibility. Group airfare is more expensive and less flexible and you cannot use your miles.

An air-conditioned bus will pick you up at the airport and transport you to your hotel and transport you to and from all team activities. We can arrange for additional activities such as:

  • Classic car tours
  • City tours
  • Shopping
  • Restaurants
  • Cigar and rum stores
